It is apparent that ODA is nonprofit making membership based charity organization established in 1993 with commitment of few development demanding volunteers. At this time ODA has 259,000 volunteers that support organizational works starting from Board of trustee, Executive and Audit Committees, in different Universities, Special Boarding schools, and basic association, health and education projects. ODA gives special emphasis and place for its volunteers by recognizing their contribution in the achievement of ODA objectives (celebrating Volunteers day at regional level), in this regard ODA has been celebrating volunteers day once a year since 2008 EC. Similarly, ODA is also working to realize the government green development initiative by implementing Environmental protection activities mobilizing its volunteers.  In this regard in last two years ODA has been established more than 40 parks on 1,401 Ha in 40 districts and planted 1,348,623 tree seedlings participating 75,155 volunteers. To this date ODA has planted 8.601 million tree seedlings by mobilizing its volunteers.  At this time local communities have started producing modern bee hive in one of ODA parks in Sabata and harvesting honey by being organized in honey producing group/cooperative.
