Membership

Oromia Development Association has been organizing its members and volunteers in the region ,outside of the region and abroad to solve the lack of development infrastructure and socio-economic problems and contribute to improving the lives of the people of our region. In the membership process, individuals from various sections of the community, government and non-government organizations voluntarily become members, pay membership fee in accordance with the rules and guidelines of the association and volunteer their energy, knowledge and resources ‘urales are making a significant contribution in solving the development of our society.

Member: – means any individual or organization who is an Ethiopian citizen, irrespective of political views , gender, religion and any other issue, who voluntarily becomes a member of WMO and fulfills the obligations of membership in accordance with the rules and regulations of the association.

Type of Members

  The ODA has members and recruits new members in terms of individual, institutional, sectoral and honorable members.

Rates and Terms of Payment of Membership Contributions

Contributions of Farmer/Rancher/and Resident Members

The monthly membership contribution payable by the Farmer/ Rancher / and Urban Resident shall be ETB 120 per annum with a baseline of ten (10) birr.

Gov’t Employee Membership Contributions

Membership Employees who have to pay monthly membership contribution will be charged Rs.0.5%(0.005) of their net salary/ monthly salary. The payment period is monthly when salary is paid on payroll through the company they work for.

Contributions of Merchant

  •  A business man (Merchant) member is a person who is engaged in business activities and is classified as A, B, and C by conducting business activities and who become a member and pay contributions on their own.
  •  Business man (Merchant) become ODA members in their name/individual :- Level “A” pays Rs.1,000 ( one thousand ) and above
  •  Level “B” pays Rs.500 (Five Hundred) and above
  •  Level “C” pays Qarshii 120 (One Hundred and Twenty) or more.
