Oromia Development Association (ODA) is a non-Governmental, non-partisan, non-profit, membership-based local organization established in 1993 reregistered as Ethiopian resident local organization with registration number 1414 on basis of the Ethiopian Federal Democratic Republic (EFDR) Civil Societies Proclamation No.1113/2019 with a mission to contribute towards the socio-economic development effort of the region through integrated, sustainable, and community based programs primarily focused on :-Education, Health, Food Security and Livelihood, Women Empowerment, Environmental Conservation and Natural Resources Management and others. ODA is an indigenous nongovernmental and nonprofit making voluntary organization established in 1993 by groups of voluntary individuals as a response to the complex socio – economic problems existing in the Oromia National Regional State.

Membership based charity organization established in 1993 with aims to contribute to local development endeavors of Oromia region.

Successfully contributed its part in filling the development gaps of the government in Oromia through implementing community based and demand driven projects.
WHERE WE DO
Currently, it is operating in 21 zones, 19 towns, 346 woredas and has about 8,000 basic associations representing members at grassroots (kebele) level.
HOW WE DO
Deploys integrated approach incorporating health, education, empowerment, economic strengthen, provision of WASH program and social programming.
